Re: "You look a lot like ....

Good one, feaito! I was just thinking of this thread the other day... I've already posted about Sir Henry Irving and Christopher Lee, but I don't think I've posted these two pictures yet: http://i1088.photobucket.com/albums/i333/Maricatrin/Look-A-Likes/3_zpsx5ioheiv.jpg http://i1088.photobucket.com/...

Re: Ben Johnson

Yikes, $255? You made the right decision!

Forgot to comment about the $2.00 check earlier, but that was very sweet, and so Ben! :D

Re: Ben Johnson

Hope you enjoyed. :) Oh, I did. Thanks a lot :D And I'm very curious to know which film Ben did a variant on Yakima Canutt's famous and often performed off-the-horse, under-the-wagon stunt. My guess would be maybe one of the B-Westerns he doubled in? You'd have Sunset Carson, Monte Hale, and Bill E...

Re: Ben Johnson

Well, I have no idea why you didn't print out that coloring page! In fact, I think you should do it... then scan in the results so we can see it. :) Today's post is a still from Wagon Master. Ben's in the background on his horse. ;) http://i742.photobucket.com/albums/xx61/pvitari/Ben%20Pics%202015/...

Re: Ben Johnson

Hope you enjoyed the entire pressbook, Maricatrin! Oh, indeed I did; thanks so much for sharing! And guess what? I was sorely tempted to print out the coloring page, but I managed to restrain myself (for the time being, anyway  ) I was very sad to hear of Rod Taylor's passing too. R.I.P. Apar...

Re: Ben Johnson

Very nice condition.

"That arrow came from the bow of a southern Cheyenne dog soldier."
"What in blazes would the Cheyenne be doing this far south?"
"That ain't my department, sir."

Re: What A Character! Blogathon 2014

Great choice! Love this guy. It's nice to know he was such sweet man off-screen. Thank you for your write-up on him. :) I recall him strongly as the Leprechaun in Jack the Giant Killer (how many times do you get asked to play a Leprechaun in your career?) but he did a good job, as did most everyone ...

Re: Detergent pods

No one wants to take responsibility for their own actions (or lack thereof) anymore. Some woman tripped on a tree root at a local park, and now she and her husband are suing. Really? Just watch where you're walking. This has to be the ultimate I'm-criminally-irresponsible-but-I-need-to-blame-...

Re: Ben Johnson

I hadn't seen that Wagon Master still before either so when it popped up on ebay I watched it like a hawk -- strangely, no one else bid on it! Today's still is from Rebel in Town. The man tied up on the right is John Smith, whom I'm sure you all remember from Laramie. ;) Oh yes! http://tmp.kinsleyl...

Re: Whaddya know about Leo Gordon?

Leo's daughter, who, I've mentioned before, runs a terrific facebook page for her dad, posted this the other day... it's about the foiled robbery attempt that resulted in Leo getting shot and sent to prison. https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xaf1/v/t1.0-9/10712903_973406102676300_603...
