One cinematographer said that Meryl Streep was a dream because her skin reflected light so beautifully. I would think Greer Garson and Rosamund Pike might be in that category too.

I saw him once in person on the Sony MGM lot and was just drawn to him like a magnet. It was the day the Rodney King riots broke out.

Of the more modern directors I think Sidney Lumet might be included. It was interesting to see him as a child actor in One Third of a Nation (1939).
