Re: Kingrat's Festival Notebook

Lynn, thank you for answering my squeal of amazement with a personal account of meeting the lady. She sounds as much a charmer now as she was in Double or Nothing (1937), where Bing Crosby set his hat ablaze — while wearing it — in order to make her acquaintance. I'd sent a fan letter to her last ye...

Re: *CANDIDS*

Re: WHAT FILMS HAVE YOU SEEN LATELY?

Daddy likes the Jack Reacher books. I believe their author was a guest programmer on TCM last year but... no, I couldn't tell you his name either.

Glorious. I love those drenched-black poster stills RKO put out in the early-'30s. No other studio did them quite as well.

Like those sentences just fine. I adore a good sentence fragment in the evening. Don't like the headache.

Re: LISTS

I love that. Makes me feel I'm in a little bitty theatre with some REALLY good actors! Ha! I like the way you put it, Red. And, yes – likewise. Re: Merry Christmas!

Happy Christmas to you, folks!

Just wanted to pop in for a moment and say that. I'm missing you. Hoping to be in your company again soon. My best to you this season, and always.

And, Fossy: you're so sweet.

Cheers!
