Re: PBS

Mrs. L., it was Martin Freeman in the Sherlock movie. He is Watson to Benedict Cumberbatch's Holmes. Their series has always been set in the current time period, so this was quite a switch for them. Martin Freeman was also Bilbo Baggins in The Hobbit trilogy. I liked the Holmes movie, but had a bit ...

After watching "The Abominable Bride" on Masterpiece Theater last night, there was a special teaser hosted by the loverly Robert, Earl of Grantham. Lots of look backs and some interesting clips of the new season. Can hardly wait!

Re: Vote for Your Favorite Film Figures for the Banner

The funniest line in the movie is when you hear Uncle Billy crash into trash cans offscreen:"I'm all right....I'm alllllllll right!"

Became a running family quote whenever there was a mishap...

Re: I'll Be Seeing You

Watched this again this past week, and was as moved by it as the firsttime. Each actor shone in his/her part. Spring Byington is a wonder. Re: LONGMIRE

Anne, this season of Longmire is a humdinger! Do the FREE 30 day trial of Netflix, gather your yarn and an easy project, and watch the whole season....hope you enjoy it as much as I did. It moves quite a bit faster, and not having to sit through commercials is a real plus!!!
