that's some outfit Barbra is wearing.
In the background, Agnes Moorhead and Danny Kaye.

All of which I enjoyed ,especially Trumbo which is set in 1940s Hollywood at the time of the blacklisting. Bryan Cra...

It's a lovely film, full of great performers. Unfortunately the sequel didn't have as good a script.

Re: WHAT FILMS HAVE YOU SEEN LATELY?
I saw my first Japanese film,THE SEVEN SAMURAI and was blown away. The Magnificent Seven seems a pale shadow in comparison. I also liked another Kurasawa film, THE HIDDEN FORTRESS, but was disappointed in his HIGH AND LOW. Next up is RASHOMON!

Re: TITANIC: Blood and Steel ... On Encore
So much has been written about the Titanic, it's a fascinating subject. I was thrilled to visit the new Titanic museum in Belfast and to stand in the dry dock where the Titanic stood. I have a German film from the 1940s on DVD ,though I haven't watched it yet. I imagine it will have a different slan...

Not sure if this is the most recent thread on DOWNTON ABBEY . Just wanted to say the very last episode was screened on Christmas Day in the UK. A very satisfactory ending to this great series. I wouldnt dream of giving away any spoilers for US fans!
