Dolores Costello was so pretty! I was sad when I read that her film career was ruined because her complexion was so badly damaged by early makeup that it couldnt even be camouflaged. (If we can believe what we read on the internet )

Clayton Moore was a true star, a gentleman, and will always be The Lone Ranger. He took his job seriously, especially when meeting younger fans. There will never be another like him. To me Cary Grant seemed to be the quintessential man in many ways. But I have seen this quote attributed to him: “Everyone wants to be Cary Grant. Even I want to be Cary Grant.” How generous of him to have given us so much when he felt himself to be lacking the very qualities we esteemed in him.
