Spencer Tracy is a great actor precisely because he made it look easy. When you have a gift, it always looks effortless. He's my Mom's favorite actor.

I love Jean Arthur! She and Carole Lombard just can't be beat for solid, madcap performances! Their brilliant quirkiness always leaves me spellbound. I feel the same about Marion Davies-they are all pretty much the same type, but with their own distinct flair.

I saw the new Prime Minister's speech, and I was very impressed by it. I wish we were trying harder in this country to get along, but there are hotheads on both sides. I do hope the coalition works out! It will be an inspiration and an example to others!
