Thanks Rita Hayworth!
BTW, I'm planning to do a guest author Q&A here on Silver Screen Oasis sometime in November.

Fredric March: A Consummate Actor
I wrote the book Fredric March: A Consummate Actor because I've been a fan of Fredric March's for a long time. In his lifetime he was acknowledged as one of the great actors. However, since his passing in 1975, his standing seems to have fallen. His was not one of the names on the List of the Americ...

Re: What's going on with late night TCM?
My suggestion is if you are able to do it to DVR some of the movies from the day TCM schedule, which are the ones I usually enjoy watching. I think often the daytime line up is better than the night time line-up. Just my opinion.

Re: Some less known Fredric March films worth seeing
When I first saw "Tomorrow The World" I was amazed by Skip Homeier's performance. I thought he and March worked well together. An unusual film. (Always looked forward to Homeier as an adult actor.) I saw "One Foot In Heaven" years ago and I remember that I enjoyed it but couldn'...

Some less known Fredric March films worth seeing
We all know his classics (DR JEKYLL & MR. HYDE, DEATH TAKES A HOLIDAY, A STAR IS BORN, NOTHING SACRED...) but here are some lesser known titles worth checking out, IMO: http://farm1.static.flickr.com/189/495270596_0509a5e934_o.jpg http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/7/72/Poster_of_the_movie...

Re: FREDRIC MARCH
Thanks for joining our site, Charles Tranberg. Can't wait to read your book. One question for you: Was there something in the water in Wisconsin? How come so many fine actors hailed from the state? Spencer Tracy, Agnes Moorehead, Fred MacMurray, Gena Rowlands, Ellen Corby and Fredric March are just...

Re: ASK ALEXA!
Hello Alexa, Love TCM and the job all of you do. I was so excited last year when you showed the 1951 version of "A Christmas Carol" and that it will be on TCM again this December 19th! :) It's my all-time favorite Christmas film. My questions actually pertain to Christmas films. Is there a...

Re: FREDRIC MARCH
At first, I thought it said A COMMUNIST ACTOR. Oh, Lord. Here we go again! No, though, as an active American citizen in his day, Fred was accused of that a few times. They couldn't make it stick. Now available (with corrected title page). March did have a patch of being accused of being either soft...
