Any musical comedy from the classic period. Which brings up a turbulent question, WHAT IS THE CLASSIC ERA? I see films that were released in the 90s liisted here. That goes beyond overlapping. I've noticed too occasiional mention of contemporary actors, Should there be limits? I 'd b e sorry to see ...

Metry I'd like to help but I have no pictures and don't know how to send them anyway. For sheer beauty, how about Dorothy Lee, Cecelia Parker, Odile Versois? there must be hundeds. For pulchritude, you couldn't beat Jane Wyman... Jesssie Matthews .. like I said, hundreds. I can't see Davis nor eithe...

Yes, THE WORDS ARE IN MY HEART is the one with the pianos.
In the Warners / Bb movies they played the tunes over and over 'till they became insidious and produced a euphoric feeling. BY A WATERFALL is a good example . Oh, bring back those days.. .mel

I'll pick THE WORDS ARE IN MY HEART from THE GOLDDIGGERS OF 1935. Not for the choreography ( design? ) but for the music. I'm partial to good waltzes and this one puts me on a higher plane Take a bow, Harry Warren. Other favorite BB numbers are BY A WATERFALL and THE SHADOW WALTZ. I liked the way he...

The sad part is there's an audience for a lot of the garbage they put out. As Louie Mayor said. " you'll never go broke by under rating the taste of the general movie audience' Which hits me 'cause I liked those Paramount muaicals from the 30S. just the songs, boss, just the songs AND THE DANCIN...

It got the award. I never th...
