Clue 2: The movie is not a musical, but it has many songs and a lot of singing. At least one of the songs won an oscar, but this is not the movie it won the oscar for.

The Wikipedia page for the song lists a whole host of movies. But the only movies from the sixties and seventies it lists are The Intelligence Men and The Wind and the Lion and this doesn't sound like either film.

The Best Actor call was quite difficult for me so I watched The Whale and The Banshees of Inisherin for a second time, back-to-back. Rewatching Joyland it's not clear to me why the protagonist decides he's bisexual, or why he was no longer attracted to his wife.

Another reminder, I should remember how impressive Miriam Hopkins is in The Heiress.
