I was in my HS chorus and in all of the musicals we put on during three of my four years. I was the star a couple of times. That's how I learned I had a pretty good voice. I also got a bit into the production end when I hurt my leg so I couldn't plan on being IN the play, so I wrote lyrics and dialog for a take-off on MFL. Even the nuns urged my parents to give me lessons, but my good old Italian dad was steadfast. I believe it was before you joined TCM that I mentioned that I wasn't alowed to wear makeup or date until my 16th birthday. Oh yeah, Dad was really old world!
