It's a great ensemble piece, with each actor from Bogart to Jean Mercier to Bruce Bennett to Rex Ingram to the wonderful American actor J. Carrol Naish all playing their hearts out in this film that takes propaganda to a new level. I hope you don't mind, but I just love Naish's moments in the movie--he was nominated for an Academy Award as Best Actor in a Supporting Role. Don't miss the payoff of the bet between Dan Duryea (who plays a good guy for once!) and Bruce Bennett:
