My gosh! The Mary Astor lineup on the first Tuesday looks fantastic!

I expect there is going to be outrage at the other site over the 2007 and 2008 movies being shown the night before. sigh

The Case of the Howling Dog (1934), and The Man With Two Faces (1934) are ones I've never seen either.

Don't look at the thread over there unless your blood pressure is low. Some people are working up to getting outraged over whatever is chosen for Race in American Film this year...and it hasn't even been announced.

I honestly never surf over there anymore. I stick to a few threads and never leave them. People have to tell me if there is a decent thread around... when I do surf, I just get irritated at all the garbage on the streets. I can't ever find anything anymore due to the trash piling up on the sidewalks.

Back to Mary Astor!

I haven't seen The World Changes either. AND it has Aline MacMahon in it too!

Flesh, directed by John Ford is on Friday the 6th at 5 pm ET. I've never seen it... wow, what a great month already.

Maureen O'Sullivan day and Simone Simon day - I am loving the May schedule.

You've either gotta laugh or cry. As I told another poster, the TCM boards have become a source of sad amusement for me lately, as what used to be a really nice and informative board has degenerated into flame wars and general kookery (is that a word?). There are some really nice people bailing for all they're worth, but I'm afraid the ship is foundering with posters who are more engrossed with the last quart of strawberries than movies.

My picks: Flesh, Sporting Blood and Hell Below (a Robert Montgomery film I HIGHLY recommend for any who are fans of his or fans of Walter Huston). I'm also happy to see a "horsey" theme.

I love Mikio Naruse, Mother hasn't been released, at least it hasn't here, it's meant to be one of his most acclaimed movies. A rare chance to see.

Any Charles Boyer Wendy?

Wendy, would you forward the schedule (if it was emailed) to me? I keep a copy and then send to Alison. For some reason, I haven't been getting the schedule emailed to me, don't know what's up. I haven't received March or April either. Sending her the link doesn't work, she keeps getting re routed to the UK line up. Thanks!

Can you be more specific? I only looked at the list from the link at the beginning of the thread - I don't know how to forward it except with a link.

TCM used to email me the schedule, the entire list for the month. I thought I'd been dropped from the email list, but maybe they are no longer providing that service?

I never got the schedule that way - I can send the same link to you, or try to copy it somewhere, but I don't really know how to.
