Mr. Postman

Anyone having troubles using the messages feature? My sent mail isn't showing up in the "sentbox" today. I wonder if the messages are being received...

I'm having the same problem as Moraldo. Where is the button to click on to send a P/M after it has been typed and spell checked? When I hit Submit, I get a copy of my P/M to preview, but nothing shows up on my Sent messages list.
Help!
Anne

Anne, I just sent a msg to you, did you put any kind of subject in the "subject" line? You can't send a message without doing so. I sometimes forget, have to go back and type something in that box.

Yes, I did have a subject. I did receive your 'test', but when I tried to answer, it didn't give any clue that it went through. How do you send it? I've always just hit 'submit' and the box would disappear and at the upper left a msg came on saying: "Your message has been sent succcessfully". Today, however, that is not happening. I'm getting the 'preview' screen instead, and the original msg from Jack Favell is not listed as being received, or sent, or even in the outbox.

Anne, it sounds like you might have to erase the "cookies" that help run the program, and I haven't a clue as to what to do. I'm sure someone else will jump in here quickly. At least you are receiving messages. I'm really sorry, this is way beyond me. It sounds like you are doing everything right.

Jon or Moira should be able to help. There are so many good movies on TCM tonight, they may be distracted...but they'll get back here before you know it. Hang in there, I'm sure help is on the way.

I thought it was just me. I just hit the submit button once on the email and then when it came back with the preview window, hit submit again.

I don't think people got two of the same message. if they did, they haven't complained.

I haven't been having this issue, but will make sure that Jon is aware of your issues. It may reflect something to do with the Browser you are using, though it could be a glitch in this site too. I think Nancy's suggestion about clearing out cookies, history, etc. regularly is an excellent suggestion.
Thanks for letting others know about this Anne & Moraldo,

It seems to be working now, but how DO you clear the cookies? And what are the cookies?
