Borzage-Gaynor-Farrell from the British Film Institute!

I know a lot of the contributors to this Board are American or Canadian, and have ready access to region one DVDs - for example the Borzage/Murnau box set from Fox. Here in the U.K., I've been waiting for the British Film Institute to put out its long-rumoured Borzage-Gaynor-Farrell set on region two.

First it was rumoured that Seventh Heaven, Street Angel and Lucky Star were to be released. Then this shrank to just the first and third of these titles. Originally this was going to be released last year. Then it got put back and put back again... and again.

Most recently the two films were due to be coming out this month. A few days ago I checked on Amazon.co.uk and found that four not two Borzage films were to be released! Seventh Heaven and Street Angel on one disc; and Lucky Star and Liliom on a separate disc. The release date for both is now 26th October. I can't find out any extra information (the BFI website doesn't mention them yet), but Moviemail.co.uk does:

I'm really excited. I've wanted to see Lucky Star for years. I just hope this information is reliable.
