 Don't ask me how, but here's the ad:

Song of the South (1946)
This DVD is currently offered ONLY through this newsletter!
Disney's version of Joel Chandler Harris' Uncle Remus stories features beloved songs (including "Zip-a-dee Doo-Dah"). Controversial due to live-action scenes of happy-go-lucky plantation life; James Baskett received a Special Academy Award for his performance.

I sent the link to my Mom because she was a big fan of the film and she surprised me by purchasing a DVD for each of us! The film looks great. I haven't seen the Japanese laser disc, but I would wager it was the source for this print.

For 12.98 it's an excellent buy. The transfer looks very good.
