Care for a peek inside Villa Agnese, as this stately home was once called?
It's only twenty million clams if you want to make it yours! :P

I know I'm super late seeing this, but I was just looking through some posts and saw this video. Thanks for posting. It's always great to see Villa Agnese. :D

AM's interview with Dick Cavett, originally broadcast 19 February 1973.
She talks quite a bit about her work with Orson Welles, including "The Magnificent
Ambersons," and about her farm in Ohio.
Her voice is so coquettish for a 72-year-old. :D 8) :D

EDITED on Sunday 16 October 2016 to change the embedded link to video.
[The owner deleted the original video and uploaded a new copy that includes
the songs from Miss Merman's segment, which includes a duet with Dick Cavett.]

This is a nice compilation of film and television clips, mixed with still images, and an
evocative musical background cut with moments from her radio plays.
Three cheers for this birthday tribute! :)

Most of us know of AM's appearance on Rod Serling's Twilight Zone series, but she
also made a couple of appearances in his later series Night Gallery. This vignette is
from season two episode two, "Witches' Feast," broadcast 22 September 1971. For some
reason, it was never aired again -- it was replaced with a different sketch when the episode
was rerun and when the series entered syndication -- so this is a bit of a lost nugget. :)
