HARRY'S LAW

Post by mrsl »

I adore Kathy Bates and I'm thrilled she has her own show this season. I just hope the writing is good enough to keep it on the air. Her insolent and scathing remarks just make me laugh like a loon. She's always the same, and it will be great for her to have her own showcase to let loose, and fly.

Definitely a winner, in my opinion. Interesting concept and characters. The only thing is I wish it was on one of the cable networks like TNT or USA instead of NBC. The broadcast networks are notorious for not letting shows develop to their full potential, especially when they start in January and the network has only ordered half a season of episodes. TNT's huge hit THE CLOSER took a few episodes to really get going and it's been on for several seasons. I doubt that would have happened on NBC. Let's hope that HARRY'S LAW does well enough in the ratings that NBC will want it back in the fall for a full season.
