Perhaps I'm wrong, but I don't think it is Adele Mara. That actress always seemed quite petite and rather delicate to me, while Marjorie Weaver in both photos above shares a similar, has a similar jawline and nose and looks quite a bit taller, at least to me.

Thanks for the answer, me too,I think ist Marjorie, but the friend drove me in a little doubt, which you blow away.
Have you seen the pic of Jan STerling's sister I've sent on Candids? :) I can add pics now!! :)

Yes, The Black Widow 1947, and she played the dangerous black Widow. I will watch a video, so after all this time, not only the name, but
also see this actress in what remains as her best role, with another villain, as The Spider Lady in Superman, 1948!
She was really a very seductive villain :-)
