So now that we've been teased with the special, any word on when the next actual series starts? I know Cumberbatch is extremely busy these days, and Freeman too, with film careers taking off. We may not get another one for some time.

You have made me very sad!
I would not have thought to look for news of when next season would begin. I expected it to be in summer or fall and felt I simply had to wait. I have now looked for starting date.
