The Immortal Whit Bissell

Post by ken123 »

[Mr Bissell was in almost all American films from the 1940's to the 1970's, but I would say that he most often appeared in noir films, most memorably in Brute Force and He Walks by Night. The he being Richard Basehart. :D

Ken,
Please search for previous threads on a topic prior to beginning new threads on the exact same topic. The other thread on Bissell was also started by you in August, 2009 and can be seen here. Before you post, you might want to use the Search feature in the upper right hand corner to look for the subject you are contemplating beginning to discuss. I like Bissell too, but he hardly warrants two threads. That search feature is not perfect, but it does help a bit.

Please use that earlier thread for further comments.
Thank you.

I associate Bissell with science fiction horror. He was in "Creature from the Black Lagoon," "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" and "The Manchurian Candidate." I'm sure I'm forgetting something else. "I was a Teenage Werewolf" right?
