Deck The Halls, a rip-off a Brit comedy series

Post by stuart.uk »

I just watched an entertaining movie Deck The Halls with Danny De Vito and Matthew Broderick.

As I watched it I was reminded of the earlier British comedy tv movie Christmas Lights with Robson Green and Mark Benton as best pals, who fall out over who'll have the best Christmas lights. This was so popular that a tv series followed Nothern Lights and yet another with a different title City Lights. Robson and Mark are back this Christmas with The Clash Of The Santas

I saw the amusing original movie with Robson Green and Mark Benton and winced when I read of the American version. I just knew it would be a coarse rip off. I hope that BBC America shows Clash of the Santas if it like the original pairing of these actors.
