Lupe Velez checks up on boyfriend Gary Cooper, but he has joined the Alibi Club, a publicity gimmick cooked up by Roland West to promote his film "Alibi" (1929)

Wow, I love that picture of Bela, what a find, Joe.

Is it me or does Gary Cooper look a bit effeminate in that picture, not that he could ever have accussed of being a real life, my guess is that Lupe wore the trousers in that relationship.

Unfortunately I don't know what film or play the image of Lugosi is from. No info was available.

Joe, I'm almost 100% certain that photo of Bela is from the 1922 play "The Red Poppy", where he played Fernando.

BTW: The play was Bela's first Broadway production after landing in America. He played a "Spanish Apache".
