Joe, I learned something new about Rita Hayworth today ... she uses a Cigarette Holder when she smokes. I did not know that! ... This is totally caught me by surprise! That photograph was taken in year 1952 after she finished with Affair in Trinidad with Glenn Ford. She dated Tony Martin for a while and did not amount to much until Rita married Dick Haymes on September 24, 1953 at the Sands Hotel, Las Vegas, and their wedding procession went through the casino.

Rita should have married Tony Martin; she would have had a much happier life. Tony was a great guy - never heard a bad word about him and he had many friends in LA and elsewhere all his long life..... Cyd Charisse picked a winner there, for sure!!!
And, having a wedding parade through a casino, should have forewarned Rita about that disastrous marriage to Dick Haymes. Now that's gambling!
She should have run through the casino and out the back door!!!

Kingme, I remember reading that Cyd Charisse married Tony Martin in 1948; so, Tony had an affair with Rita while married to Ms. Charisse?
