MongoII - I never heard of Karen Steele - she is a knockout :!: - How in the world - I miss her :!:
Can anyone help me out - I could go to the Internet and find out - but that's too impersonal and doesn't give you a better picture of her.

Re: *CANDIDS*
You know, Buchanan's character of Uncle Joe on "Petticoat Junction" had a job definition that every American male over 50 could certainly aspire to: guarding the front porch of the Shady Rest Boarding House in Hooterville . . and staying extra vigilant when the women of the community stopped by to "freshen up" in the depot's water tower . . .
One likes to think the tower supplied only the non-potable needs of the railroad . .

Kingme, you might remember Karen Steele in the film "Marty". She played Virginia with the baby who was having trouble with her mother-in-law.

Luise Rainer said that Muni's wife was always behind the camera on the set of The Good Earth to make sure that the camera angles favoured him.

I'm celebrating M. Emmett Walsh Day here in Vermont by going down to the Miss Bellows Falls Diner, and consuming two greasy hash browns smothered in sausage gravy, while I listen to the freight trains go creaking by and remember the times that Memmy cheated me in Michigan Rummy, and made me pay his bar bill.
Stephen King coined a word for that kind of guy 28 years ago in his novel "Christine" . . I just can't repeat it here . . even fondly.
