Re: *CANDIDS*
Hi Joe,
There aren't many pictures of Dorothy Di Frasso in existance; but you manage to find many obscure photos......
The Countess was another of those fun loving party girls and was always good to me. She lived 1 block east and a little south of us and I sometimes snuck over there whenever I heard she was in town. Mary Boland helped design her garden. Jose Iturbi bought the house and all the furniture after Dorothy died.
That was very sad and rather abrupt news to me, as she was so alive all the time. She died on a trian coming back from Las Vegas.. Bugsy Segal was once her lover and the house he died in I think she owned too (not sure about that thought!!)....
Nice to see Mary looking so good and happy... One never saw her out in the 50's and Pickfair was not one of my haunts!!
Thanks for the great photo...
Larry

I love how Coop has to really lean forward to listen to Mary.

MongoII - I checked your thread daily, sometimes twice, one thing for sure - about your consistency - is the uniqueness of all pictures of Hollywood's Leading Men and Women in most distinctive fashion. But, most of all, I love the way mix things up with your birthday list of past and present celebrities that we enjoy on the Silver Screen. Keep up the good work :!:
