Was the dog named for the rocker, or the outlaw, do you suppose?
I seem to recall that Sinatra had as much regard for the Beatles as Elvis did.

Miles Mander is so great! Thanks for including him today, Mongo. He was just on in Murder My Sweet this morning, and I barely recognized him! He had a truly fascinating background, check out Wiki or IMDB for his life history sometime. He plays my favorite role in Wuthering Heights, as the chirpy, well-meaning stranger who stumbles into the house on a snowy night, and touches Cathy's ghostly hand through the broken window.

Eye popping colors! Previously I don't believe I've ever seen Bonita Granville in color. Love the mules. I first discovered her many decades ago in These Three when I was trying to feed my Sylvia Sydney obsession. Coincidentally, she popped up soon after when I saw Now Voyager when she was the cruelly sophisticated daughter of the generously sophisticated Ilka Chase. (I've always assumed Ilka put the kind card in the box with the cape, and Bonita later pinned it to the back.) Years later I caught some of the Nancy Drew stories and saw a nicer side to this youngster. Didn't she have something to do with Lassie later?

Bonita Granville is she anyway related to Betty Grable? I see some resemblance here. This some photograph of her ... Its definitely meet the WOW factor ... incredible colors ... what dazzling image of this beautiful blonde in technicolor. Thanks for sharing ... MongoII!

MR, Miss Granville was married to Jack Wrather, producer of the Lassie TV series.

Kingme, Miss Granville is not related to Betty Grable.

I would love it if TCM would honor Harry Carey, Jr. sometime soon. He's a national treasure.

Harry Carey Jr. a lucky lady, and Ben Johnson square dancing.

Note: Jack, I didn't notice your post till after I had posted the picture. Quite a coincidence! (BTW, I couldn’t agree more.)
