Elinor Donahue was always my favorite family member. I missed her when Father Knows Best went off the air. She did that short time in Mayberry with Andy Griffith, then disappeared until that one bit in Pretty Woman. I never caught her in anything else though. I can hardly believe she's only 7 years older than I. From her actions on 'Father', I assumed she was at least 15 years older than me. It just goes to show how your impressions change as you grow older.

Thank you for the pictures of our Queen. We were looking at banners and bunting to put up for the Diamond Jubilee our estate is holding a party to celebrate, for years I've heard stories of the great street parties for the end of the war and the coronation and I briefly remember one for her Silver Jubliee but I was very young, I'm so pleased to be part of a community that wants to celebrate in style.
