TCM co-host Illeana Douglas has a new book out that is as smart and funny as she is.
The title,"I Blame Dennis Hopper" is an apt title as readers discover the unconventional childhood Douglas had, thanks to screening of "Easy Rider" her parents saw.
What follows is terrific ride through her eyes as she grows up and becomes an actress.
There are fond remembrances of her grand-father Melvyn Douglas and the book is just a great deal of fun to read and quite poignant, too.
I highly recommend it for anyone that enjoys a good read about wants to learn more about how Douglas came to love the movies and maybe not blame Dennis Hopper for everything!
