Ah, but the quest was of two great ACTORS. Not "stars". There usually is a difference between the two. If you want, replace Strode with Marvin, or Trade Marvin for Strother Martin or Lee Van Cleef, or put Qualen in there somewhere.

Watched a couple of westerns last night on the Movies! channel.

The first was Broken Arrow (1950, and filmed right here in Sedona AZ) with Jimmy Stewart and Jeff Chandler.

The second was Broken Lance (1954) with Spencer Tracy and Richard Widmark...although it also starred some young fresh-faced kid named Robert Wagner.

Yeah, it was. And in fact, the third western they showed was a real turkey that featured a young Jack Nicholson and was titled "The Broken Land" (1962).

(...could only take about 20 minutes of it before turning it off...the direction especially was horrible...it has an IMDb rating of "5.1")
