A Gathering of the Old Guard

After catching Sly Stallone on the late show the other night, even though I hate CGI and most of what it does, I might tune into the new Stallone/Swartzenegger flick. From how he talked, it sounds like some of the old guard are going to be making quick cameo appearances. I know Chuck Norris is also in the movie, so Bruce Willis, and some of the others may appear.

Several years ago, Kenny Rogers made a series of westerns based on his Gambler song, and in the final one (I think it was #4 Return of the Gambler, Luck of the Draw), ALL of the old guys made cameos, Clint Walker, Chuck Connors, Bronco Layne, Tenderfoot, Wyatt Earp, etc. Most of the fun of the movie was watching to see who showed up next.

You know, I was hoping this movie was a good one.

It's fun to see Arnold, Bruce and Sly in a movie together. I think they all have a sense of humor, and that's worth something. I realized somewhere along the way that I like Bruce Willis a lot.
