Member poll -- how did you find us?

Postby jondaris » Fri Mar 14, 2008 12:43 am

I'd like to ask the members how they became aware of SSO. I know for some of you, but I'd like to have a gneral idea of how most of you ended up here. If possible, post in this thread how you discovered this board.

thanks again! I don't post a lot, but I love this Oasis.

Apparently, I'm a stalker. I follow you guys wherever you go; from the TCM board to the Yahoo Group and finally to the Oasis.

I found it surfing at about the time SSO started, but I wasn't into Boards at the time and, even though I bookmarked it, I promptly forgot about SSO.

A few months later, I joined TCM and, a couple of months after that, the wonderful and gracious Mr. Arkadin invited me over (I think he wanted to abuse me with his noir knowledge). I am thankful to him and everyone else here for making me feel welcome and adding sunshine to each day.

Likewise, but actually the specific person who invited me to join both Boards (the Yahoo Group and the Oasis) was Moira Finnie and I've made a point of telling all the great people I know about these wonderful Boards :D

I was invited by moirafinnie to come and join. It's the first place I go whenever I log on - sometimes the only place. :D
