Two favorites from Twentieth Century, which was just on:

"Anathema! Child of Satan!"

and

"She loves me. I could tell that through her screaming."

A fitting quote during this Banner might be:

"To new worlds of Gods and Monsters!"

Honoring both The Bride of Frankenstein and the movie version of Christopher Bram's magnificent Father of Frankenstein.

But the creepiest quote of all has to be:

"I am Dracula. I bid you welcome."
AVATAR: Billy DeWolfe as Mrs. Murgatroid, “Blue Skies” (1946)

“My ancestors came over on the Mayflower.”
“You’re lucky. Now they have immigration laws."

Mae West, The Heat’s On” (1943)

For those of us who don't have quotes from movies emblazoned on our memories, I've added a note designating the origin of today's quote, spoken by John Barrymore with great relish in Howard Hawks' Twentieth Century (1934).

Sorry, but I could not remember if it was from drama or a comedy! Today's quote is an easy one to identify. Thanks.

Today's quote from The Wolf Man (1941) is a little long, for which I apologize, but could we please suggest some more spooky movie lines for this week leading up to Halloween? Thanks in advance for your input!
