OK - it looks like I will need to make a date with Norma Talmadge & Gilbert Roland at this year's SFSFF:

Did you attend, Jezzy? Were we under the same roof without knowing it?

Well, I did purchase an advance ticket to just this one single screening, but when Sunday rolled around, I wasn't able to make the trek up to The City. I'm hearing this film was kinda over-the-top; also that it is expected to be released on DVD at a future date. From the other thread, I take it you didn't see this one? But you did meet Kevin Brownlow - cool!

Yea, I missed this one. What a pairing though. I wish I could've seen it -- over the top or not. Come up next year Jezzy!

Moraldo,

Thanks for the mini recap of the Festival. I so wanted to be there but next year, I should have no prior commitments or major anniversaries of theme parks to celebrate. So, count me in as joining you for the Festival. In addition, I'm really bummed that I missed the Nitrateville breakfast at Donna's.

Maybe we can wrangle an invitation for next year.

Consider yourself invited. Already in the planning stages, it's going to be a cocktail party prior to the opening film.

I still have leftover bacon if anyone is interested.....
