The Devil & Daniel Webster

One of my favorite films of all time is The Devil & Daniel Webster is the next Essential. Walter Huston is in top form as Mr Scratch ( ake the Devil ) as is Edward Arnold as Webster, replacing the injured during filming Thomas Mitchell. James Craig, Anne Shirley, Jane Darwell, John Qualen, Simone Simone, H.B. Warner and Jeff Corey lend top notch support. Craig & Shirley are the films actual leads. Bernard Hermann's score is fantastic
