The is the first time I remember that it is 80 degrees here the week before the mass exodus from Illinois and Indiana to Florida to escape the end of winter!?!? Confusing, but lovely. Daffodils and even a couple of tulips and all the flowering trees are out.

City Hall and City Hall's fountain. Oh...and if you're looking for Charles Boyer or Cary Grant...this little building is a nice meeting place. Uhmmmm...just look both ways before you cross the street.

It looks like Manhattan in Mid-May not Mid-March, CineMaven! Thanks very much for sharing those views here.

Either Mother Nature is giving us a break...or she is very very very angry and is trying to confuse the balance of things.

WhatEVER it is...I'm walking around in a light sweater and filming in the sunshine. I'll take it!!! 8)

Ha! T, that quote in your signature is funny. I wonder is it a kick or a compliment? Maybe it explains why I used to like reading Hem. :D

I get where you're coming from Theresa. I enjoy the nice weather too. But what will the environment be like 100 years from now? I'm in Kentucky. We had practically no winter at all. We need to kill some bugs! Get cold. Snow. Kill Bugs! Then I'll take the warm weather.

A hundred years from now? I don't think I'll be needing a sweater.

March heatwave in Scotland

Post by stuart.uk »

Just over a yr ago in the UK we had one of the worst winter's in living memory, now in March 2012 it's hotter than it has ever been my my lifetime for this time of yr. Monday afternoon I was almost passing out, it was so hot. Folk in Scotland are out in tee shirts and shorts, though I expect it'll get cold again before the real summer begins

It's actually chilly here in Kentucky. What the hell? Appropriate weather?
