Alison,
Count me among those who would spend their last dollar (Euro? Pound Sterling? Franc? Mark? Yen?) on their pets. I'd probably spend money I didn't have. It's not a crime to bounce a check (cheque?) to save a life, is it? I've never written a rubber check, but if there ever comes a first time, you won't have to guess at the reason!
As always,
Hollis

Yes, I'd spend to save their lives, thankfully our vet wouldn't take the money if the case was hopeless. I hope.
My update on the other dilemma is that the doctor is keeping me off again this week whilst he blood tests me, checking for anaemia and presumably other things, then I see him next week. I've got over my laryingitis but feel dreadfully tired, I don't want to come down with anything else, especially if we are moving soon.
