oooooh, yummy! I like peppermint hot chocolate myself... :D

How about a gluten-free cupcake?

Mellow Greetings from Yooky Dooky, Chris!

How is your morning?

I actually woke up to The Modern Age with Joan Crawford, being on TCM this morning and had never seen it before. I was wondering if anyone else had seen it.

I also was looking at that poster MissG posted a while ago with Out for Justice displayed on it. I'm now curious about that film too!

GASP! you've outdone me this morning! I've had one cup of decaf coffee and 2 cups of tea. Don't ever give me caffinated coffee.. You will NEVER get me off the ceiling or to stop giggling.

Ha! I love it! I was just listening to Julie London this morning on my spotify account! I really like Freddy's later recordings too. I love his originals with ginger and in his movies, but do you notice his later albums were always slowed down to almost a blues-y feel? I thought it was weird at first, but i warmed up to those tracks a lot.

i never used to be able to handle coffee either but now it's the only thing that makes me conscious in the morning!

i noticed some very slow-tempo versions in the play list. i also saw him on some TV special where he sung a song very slowly, it's nice.

Do either of you know how different Spotify is from Pandora?

I almost never listen to it anywhere except work so I have New Age or "Smooth" Jazz on because I find vocals are a distraction.

chris,
i have no idea how different they are except that i found songs on Spotify that i could not find on Pandora. Maybe their catalog of tunes is larger? However, i don't know if you can customize your "radio station" on Spotify like you can on Pandora. I haven't been able to, anyway.

Chris,

Spotify is completely different from Pandora. Pandora is a bunch of music stations that pick the songs and artists for you when you plug in a name or song to begin the playlist. I like Pandora, because they show you new and similar artists to people that you like.

Spotify is where you have access to thousands and thousands of albums and singles from just about anyone and everyone. You can create your own playlists and favorites. That's what I like about Spotify more. You can find any jazz instrumental artist and have access to every album of theirs. it's really cool!

And by the way, how can you function with caffeine?! Oh my goodness! it makes me soooo hyper! I never stop moving, literally! When planning a wedding, all I need is half a cup of any caffeine, and I last the entire day and night for that event. sometimes I don't even need that much. Heehee!

I have a friend that freely admits that if you catch her before she has her coffee you talk to her at your own risk.

Even with The Bride being a first class Starbucks Drive Through Queen she is more of a tea drinker. I guess at 4:30am you're going to need some caffeine.

I guess I'll go try Spotify.

Signed up for Spotify. It imported my itunes library. Now I have to learn how to use it.
