How are you today? Have things calmed down any? And lots of prayers being sent south, too!

Thanks Nancy. Things have been better, almost no aftershocks today, at least that I've felt. I haven't seen a single Classic since the quake though, only two contemporary duds: the 2010 "Legion" (interesting premise, but a flawed film) and "Brüno" (2009) (quite offensive and bad taste jokes; not much laughs- I wanted a to watch a contemporary comedy- my wife stopped watching it).

Fernando, I'm glad to hear from you, we keep hearing of the aftershocks on the news. Hang on in there and try to watch some classic comedy. Your still very much in our thoughts.

What you said about Bruno is pretty much as I thought it would be.

CNN is saying that an earthquake, magnitude 6.2, has hit Northern Chile.

Almost a year since the last one but I did want to make sure Fe is okay!

So, Fe, let us know!

It sounds as though this earthquake was far north of Santiago, but this is one more natural disaster that Chile doesn't need. I'm praying for everyone potentially affected by this one on Sunday, especially those who are still struggling with homelessness from last year's huge quake and for Fernando and his loved ones.

Dear Fernando,

Shocking, that again in March, Chile has another earthquake...
I am thinking about you and your family and hoping that you are all OK!!!
There are only a few people on the movie & royalty message boards that I frequent that I care about, and you are one of them....

Take care & stay safe - always....

Thanks everyone, I'm all right. I think the tremor wasn't even perceived in Santiago which is located at the center of Chile and is at a distance of 2,050 Kms from Arica. In Arica people were scared, but there were not casualties, thank Heavens...To think that with a similar magnitude quake Christchurch, NZ, suffered such damages, devastation and death...well the epicenter was much nearer the surface (5Kms deep), whereas the Chilean earthquake last year originated 35 kms into the ground....

Chile has been suffering constant tremors and quakes allalong 2010 and 2011, especially in the South and people have been really scared, because some of them have reached 7,0...My mother-in-law is dead scared of quakes...

I'm super touched by everyone's sincere concern...Thanks again my friends at SSO!

I've been not posting because today I had a hectic day at work and during the WE I was away -my youngest sister got married and the Wedding Party was in the far away suburbs of Santiago...and we stayed up until 5 AM and slept in nearby hotel-resort...
