Thanks to all for the good wishes but let us remember that today is ChiO's anniversary as well. Many happy returns to you and Mrs. ChiO.

Congratulations to both happy couples!

I hope that MrsChiO will be joining us for Elliot's film festival in a few weeks!

And I hope Chris and Carolanne had a terrific weekend celebration!

I like that word "Felicitations" ... it's different and unique way to express to both happy couples that Miss Goddess just described not to long ago!

Thanks, everyone. We just returned from a performance of Freud's Last Session, a fictionalized account of a possible meeting between a near-death Freud and C.S. Lewis, arguing over and pondering the existence of God. The perfect feel-good play for an anniversary!

So, Chris, doing some calculations, I'm guessing you've been married longer than we have. Our ceremony was scheduled for 4:30pm (CST) and, factoring in Greek time (Start on time? Never!) and that, although the Greek Orthodox ceremony is long, the pronouncement of marriage occurs relatively early (the rest of the ceremony is actually a celebration of marriage), we probably become husband and wife at about 5:00-5:15pm. So, are we more newlyweds than you old-timers?

Oh, and LZ, Mrs. ChiO won't be in SF this year. But our Baby will be joining me either Friday night or Saturday afternoon or Saturday night (depends on when she goes to the Giants game).

ChiO:

Our ceremony started at 3:00pm EDT. We were done about 3:25pm. It was extended, unnecessarily upon reflection, by my singing a song I wrote for my bride.

Being a Baptist, weddings are the one thing we don't take too long to get through. Sometimes the sermons on Sunday run longer.

Yeah, you maybe more of a newlywed than we are but we still very much feel that way.

Thanks to everyone who sends well wishes to Carolann and me. I appreciate it. I'm very lucky.

P.S. I've been to a Greek wedding. Yep, they can be long.
