Thank you all for inhabiting this classic film site with kindness, wit, charm, and a great love for classic film

My feeling exactly.

As much as I like the 1938 version, I love the 1951 version best!

Thank you. :) I plan to watch it tonight. Like yourself (and many others!), my favorite is easily the Alastair Sim version.

Known as The Story Fairy, Cindy performs monthly events at our local Childrens Hospital, produces a weekly 30-minute show on our community access TV station, and generally brings much joy and happiness to kiddies. So, for those of you with children, or the young at heart, here's a video I hope you will enjoy: Presented with our love and only the best wishes for the Season - and most especially, our prayers that each of you and your families enjoys health, happiness and prosperity for 2013! God bless you all from The Western Guy and The Story Fairy:

I'm very impressed! So beautifully executed, costumed, and illustrated. Thank you for sharing. I feel like asking about some of the methods used, but that would be silly, when it's obviously fairy magic at work.

Yes, Mary-Kate, and as Cindy always says: Accompanied by a dash of fairy dust.

A Merry Christmas to everyone at SSO. I haven't had time to post lately as I've been working a lot (and will be working tonight as well), but I miss you guys and think of you often.

We all need some fairy dust in our lives.

If I don't get back online tonight, I wish everyone the most wonderful Christmas ever

Merry Christmas to all of you. You are more then people to chat with about movies. You are friends. You give me something to look forward to each day. Even when I'm not writing I am reading and thoroughly enjoy what everyone brings here.

A blessed new year to all. Looking forward to more great conversations. Thanks.
