At least 21 Egyptian Coptic Christians were killed in a bomb attack in an Alexandrian Coptic Church after Mass on New Years Day, this comes afters months of attacks on Iraqi Christians. Coptic Christians comprise about 10% of Egypts population of 80 million. Two of the worlds oldest Christian communties days may be numbered, at least in their native lands.

Thousands of Egyptian Moslems surrounded Virgin Mark Church acting as human shields to protect the church and its parishioners from attack on the Coptic Christmass Eve, the Feast of the Epiphany here January 6.
