Maybe this is an unpopular opinion but I hated all versions of that movie. I found it an offensive concept and after watching it once I refuse to see it again. Am I alone here? It just rubs me the wrong way.
I bring this up now becasuse many TV movie channels are playing it to death recently.

I haven't seen them as an adult, but as a kid I enjoyed the first two movies in the series (didn't see the others) and the television series. I'm not sure how I'd respond to them as an adult, but don't know if I'd find them offensive. To me it's a bit of science-fantasy, not something I think could happen here on earth.
