Happy Birthday, Cinemaven

Post by Lzcutter »

It is midnight on the East Coast and sometime in the next few hours, Cinemaven will begin to celebrate her birthday.

May it be a wonderous day filled with lots of fun and happiness!

A happy snowy birthday to you. I hope it is a grand day with absolutely no digging out anything except icing on the cake.

Now heeere's the watering hole; the calm oasis where moviechatting reigns supreme. And look who's here to send birthday greetings to this old maid spinster Capricorn. Masterful Harry Carey, insanely anarchic Groucho (sans elephant in his pjs), mischievous Stymie (with his hipster Bojangles bowler), luscious Joanie (sending men to their doom even as an avatar), lollypop lickin' fun-lovin' Ginger, lovable Petey (who wouldn't hurt a fly but I can't say the same 'bout that Rascal SPANKY!!), Crazy-Eyes Tim Carey (who don't scare me none...well, much) and a baby-faced Feaito!!!! (whose good genes are evident even waaaay back then).

Thank you all sincerely, for remembering my birthday. From North, South, East and West I feel the warmth.

Theresa

I hope to meet some of you at TCM's Film Festival in April. Thanx again!

Oh...is there a doctor in the house? Well I do declare there is. Dr. Omar....

Hello there Mongo. Thank you for the birdthday wishes the other day. Love Stanwyck in all black and that one red spot...where her heart should be.

Klondike, I'll take better late than never. My thanks are still heartfelt to you for the acknowledgment. Thanx!

BTW Mongo...I saw Victor UNcropped, and I must say I'll never see him the same way again in my mind. I'm impressed. Aaaaah, to quote Paul Simon's old song: "slip slidin' away....slip slidin' a-waaaay."
