Mr. Limbaugh on his radio program says that he hasnt any sympathy toward the news reporters, including Americans, who have been beaten in Egypt, and that he feels no outrage at these events. A strange reaction or am I the one who is out of step ? :?:

PS/
It seems that Mr. Imus believes that the Anderson beating was a stunt, at least thats what the liberal site ThinkProgress reports.

Ken, it is my personal opinion that if Rush actually believes what he's said, he has either gone back to abusing pharmaceuticals, or ought to consider doing so.
As for Don Imus, an on-air commentator I used to respect, I believe he's several years into confusing self-image with reputation.

Good points, Klonnie.

And I have found in my vast public education experience that folks who have trouble empathizing with the plights of others are in one of these situations:
a. suffering depression
b. suffering depression and in the midst of relieving it with anti-depressants and/or self-medicating
c. sociopatths
d. inherently selfish
e. Asperger's sufferers
f. public education employees who need to find another vocation
