First Western Trails Film Club of Georgia Meeting

For anyone interested. Apparently people are coming from several states for this. :) There's going to be a panel with authors which for some reason they asked me to be on (I think they needed bodies). :) So I'll be there. :) One of the authors on the panel is Chuck Thornton, who has written or co-written a number of books about screen cowboys like Tim Holt, Lash Larue and Allen "Rocky" Lane. Eddie Wallace of the singing cowboys group The Sunshine Boys (who sang with Eddie Dean) may also attend if his health permits (he's in his 90s).

Well... not really. What I'm knowledgeable about are Westerns that Ben Johnson is in. ;)

It means I'm going to keep my mouth shut as much as possible so I won't put my foot in it. Hopefully Chuck Thornton -- who IS a bonafide author with books on Tim Holt, Lash Larue and Allen "Rocky" Lane will do most of the talking.

There are two other ladies on the panel but I confess I don't know who they are. I hope their credits are better than mine! ;)

Chuck Thornton has written books about Tim Holt, Lash LaRue, and Allan Lane. Some great company! I can't wait until your biography of Ben Johnson gets published!
