WHAT YOU HAVE FOR DINNER TODAY!
Before I watch the BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN and the MUMMY with my friends in Vancouver B.C.
It would be fun thing to do is to share what you all have for DINNER today?
A fun thread for all of us ...
I had a great TACO SALAD with three kinds of meat, Lean Ground Chuck, Lean Steak, and Chicken Breast too. With all the works and topped with SALSA and a bit of Sour Cream - its was huge and will not be eating again - till morning?
What did you guys have for DINNER? ... You can submit daily if you like and share your memorable meals with us!!!

Re: WHAT YOU HAVE FOR DINNER TODAY!
I had spinach quiche and a half of a bagel. Tomorrow I plan to make sausage, onions, and Cubanel (Italian) peppers, and red potatoes in a stew for my wife and me. I do most of the cooking in our house now that I am retired. While we were raising three kids my wife slaved over their upbringing while doing all the cooking and cleaning. Now she deserves a rest.

Re: WHAT YOU HAVE FOR DINNER TODAY!
I treated myself to a double cheeseburger tonight, topped with cole slaw and sliced tomato. Instead of french fries I had buttered corn. This was my quarterly cholesterol splurge, and I enjoyed it!

Re: WHAT YOU HAVE FOR DINNER TODAY!
I have not dined out much but I visited a favorite restaurant, Tandoori Hut. It sounds like a fast food place but it's not. Before Covid, they had a buffet, but that's over. I had a Chicken Tikka Masala with only Naan to have with it, to cut back on carbs. The Masala alone probably has a billion carbs and so I ate half and brought the rest home for a later time. It was fabulous. Soft drink and later tea.

Re: WHAT YOU HAVE FOR DINNER TODAY!
Roast beef and homemade vegetable soup, made with the following vegetables: onions, carrots, celery, mushrooms, tomatoes, red and yellow bell peppers, butternut squash, potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and broccoli.
Btw, Nipkow seems happily settled at "the other place," where he has started "The Chow Thread;" and "Transgenderism" threads.
Lafitte: My excellent local Indian restaurant, Sapphire Cuisines of India, closed on December 31. We have many other options for Indian cuisine, but that was my local, and I'll miss it.

Oddly enough, a favorite is that "we make it ... all you do is bake it," pizza.
Chicken, Bacon & Artichoke. (Love at 425°)
I will add, it looks like Sepiatone is happy elsewhere too.
Still don't know how to post a video here.
There is a song on the CD "A Taste of DMP" called Salamander Pie.
An early all digital Jazz CD. The song is very short and the only vocal.

"I am proud of being a Southerner. I wasn't about to let Southerners on my show be stupid or aw-shuckses who just sit on the front porch and spit in the yard. I wasn't about to do that, and I made that very clear from the start. I was kind of the gate-keeper on that stuff." ~ Andy Griffith

Re: WHAT YOU HAVE FOR DINNER TODAY!
Fish tacos; Since it is a weeknight I use frozen beer bather breaded fish. I make my own tater sauce, and red-and-green cabbage slaw. Side is green beans Italian style: heat olive oil, put in chopped garlic, chili flaks, and sliced almond; then add partially cook green beans. (raw ones that are steamed about 15 minutes).
Re: WHAT YOU HAVE FOR DINNER TODAY!
Pan-fried fish fillets with with some cheese and fresh tomatoes on the side.
When in doubt, have another one.
