Can't believe Paulette allowed her "hairdo" to hide her earrings!

Hi,
The cast of "Kismet" are Howard Keel, Dolores Gray, Ann Blythe and Vic Damone....
Do I win a prize??
Paulette's brooch is diamonds and rubies in the form of a knot; it can be worn also upright.
I would guess that this picture was taken in the early 30's, since her hair is short... Chaplin told her to return to her brunette from dyed blonde after her met her. She then had a short blonde cut, but he preferred longer brunette hair.
I don't know how much jewelry Paulette had before 1934, so this may explain only her brooch and nothing else....
Just my guess....
Larry
