I voted too! Ditto on wishing I could vote for them all. Gosh I wish we could adopt a cat. I would if I weren't allergic. There are so many more kitties in need of homes than dogs in our area. We're still looking for another doggie.

I wanted to vote for them all, too. I've been looking into finding a nearby kitty shelter to volunteer at on weekends. My heart just goes out to them, especially when I see how spoiled mine are. :(

I voted too! I've actually been to the one in Ithaca. Thanks for mentioning this, Miss G.

The last time I saw a real life cat do this, I tried a harness on one of my long-ago kitties. She reacted as though she was a put-upon character in a melodrama and I was Snidely Whiplash. Pretty amusing, though she never seemed to grasp the concept of "let's go for a walk on a leash." She would merely look at me as if to say, "What fresh hell is this?"

Other than that one flaw in our relationship, we got along fine.

My sweet Charlie does this when I'm sitting in a chair, knitting. She sneaks up, lands on the arm of the chair, and then caterpillar's over and on to my lap. She doesn't bother the yarn, she just want to share my lap with it...

The winner of the "Catification" contest was Carol's Friendlies and Ferals, but everyone got a prize.

That's great, MissG! Italy sounds very progressive.

I can't help noticing all the cute kitty toys, rings, climbing stuff, cat scratchers, note cards that are coming up as adverts when I go over to look at those links. I wish I owned a cat so I could get those climbing kitty rings and decorate with them.

You also clued me in by accident to a rug place! We could use a new one.

Fabulous! Yes, there's a big market of crazies like me that will buy some of this crazy stuff...yet the cats still prefer the containers they come in! :D

That gave me a smile, Miss G. Who says that cats and dogs don't have a sense of humor when they play with us or each other?

I just wanted to share this picture of Claude, he's nearly 17, he's known 4 other cats and two noisy children and soon his peace is going to be shattered by a puppy.
