What Wendy said...that's happened to me many times.

Thanx Wren. I'm pretty good about that. I do use preview alot just to check my posts before sending. Thank you.JackFavell wrote:Theresa, did you check and see if maybe it was giving you a "preview" instead of just sending the message the first time? That's happened to me before..but not for a long time. I used to think I'd sent the message but in reality it was just previewing it, then I'd leave thinking I'd actually sent the message but it hadn't gone through. All I had to do was click submit again for it to go through. It's a long shot, but something that occurred to me might be the problem.
Ahhhh haaa. I'll be careful with that Miss. G.MissGoddess wrote:What Wendy said...that's happened to me many times.

Re: Computer Issues
Cinemaven,
I think Jacks has hit the nail on the head. There is a quirk in the board that sometimes when you hit the submit button, your PM doesn't actually submit but goes into a preview mode. If it did submit there should be (1) next to your outbox. If not, your PM is still open on the screen and you can scroll down and hit the submit button again and the second time should be the charm.
Sometimes, having over a mailbox that is too full can trigger the quirk. Other times, it can be sun spots, Mercury retrograde or cyber gremlins.
But other message boards that use this software have reported having the problem as well.
Hope that helps!

Re: Computer Issues
Well, guess what? My computer is now doing the preview thing too. I just tried to send a PM and it did the same thing.

Darn Mercury.
Keep your Microsoft Word document open. This way you cut and paste your post in the document BEFORE you press "submit." This way if it doesn't go through the first time, you don't have to re-type all your thoughts all over again.
